Ravenna quarterback Conner Kilbourne passed for three touchdowns on Thursday, leading the Bulldogs to a 55-8 victory over Hart in the first week of West Michigan Conference action.

The Bulldogs led 48-0 at halftime, prompting a running clock in the second half.

All three of Kilbourne’s TD passes came in the first half – 16 yards to Calvin Schillo, 23 yards to Jack Emery and 29 yards to Josh Cox.

Other Ravenna touchdowns were scored by Cox (17-yard run), Garry Johnson (runs of 2, 4 and 7 yards), and Dalton Hogan (14 yards).

Johnson finished with 92 yards rushing for the Bulldogs while Kevin Ritz added 62. Cox caught four passes for 124 yards.

Ravenna piled up 436 total yards of offense, compared to 127 for the Pirates.

Dom Mabrito led Ravenna defensively with six tackles.

Dustin Klotz, who scored Hart’s only touchdown with a 9-yard run, completed 6 of 17 passes for 36 yards.

Ravenna, now 1-1 overall and 1-0 in conference play, will visit North Muskegon next Friday. Hart, 0-2 and 0-1, will visit Whitehall.
