The Oakridge volleyball team opened West Michigan Conference play by defeating Shelby in three straight sets on Tuesday.
The Eagles won the match by service scores of 25-18, 25-12 and 25-18 margins.
Halle Jennings paced Oakridge with nine kills, while Hayden Ruel chipped in with 19 assists and Riann Fri contributed with 23 service points.
The Eagles are now 1-0 in West Michigan Conference play.
