The Whitechall volleyball team used a strong second place finish at the Coopersville tournament on Thursday to improve their record to 9-2-2.
The Vikings defeated Orchard View, Zeeland West, Wayland and Montague before falling to Coopersville in the finals.
Allisyn Grams led Whitehall with 24 kills while Abby Seeger had 19 kills and Rayne Thompson had 18 kills.
Jaden Mikkelson led the Vikings with 78 assists while Gianna Megna had 39 digs and McKenna Hepler had 12 aces.
