The Muskegon football team kept its perfect season intact with an easy 49-7 victory over Jenison on Friday in an O-K Black Conference matchup at Hackley Stadium.

The Big Reds are now 6-0 overall and 3-0 in conference play.

The Big Reds again showed off their high-power offense, outscoring the Wildcats 42-7 in the first half to take control. Muskegon had a 377-27 advantage in rushing yards, 105-59 in passing and 236-182 in total yards.

Jeremiah Lockhart led the way for the Big Reds, rushing for 155 yards on seven carries with two touchdowns. Quarterback Cameron Martinez ran for 126 yards on five carries with three TDS, while Demario Robinson added 56 yards and scored once.

Jordan Porter caught a 30-yard touchdown pass for Muskegon.

Quenton Reynolds and Taran Walker paced the defense with six tackles apiece.

The Big Reds will visit Grand Rapids Union next week.
