The North Muskegon boys soccer team posted a 3-1 win against Shelby on Tuesday in a West Michigan Conference game.

The Norse, who led 1-0 at halftime, were paced by Brody Hoffman with a goal and an assist while Hudson Yaussy and Trevor Schultz added a goal each.

North Muskegon goalkeeper Nick Gertsweiler stopped six shots in net.

The Norse are now 6-1-1 on the season and 2-0 in West Michigan Conference play.

Shelby’s Matt Felt had one goal and goalkeeper Ben Kelley stopped ten Norse shots.

The Tigers are now 3-4 on the season and 1-1 in league play.

HART 9, MONTAGUE 1- Ruben Perez was the highlight of the game for the Pirates, knocking in five goals while Allen Seldago added two goals and six assists.

Jesus Selgado and Rigo Rangel each added a goal and assist a piece for Hart.

The Pirates are off to a 4-0 start and are 1-0 in West Michigan Conference play.

FRUITPORT CALVARY CHRISTIAN 6, WALKERVILLE 3- Behind Luke Anhalt and Zach Zehr’s two-goal performances, the Eagles earned a victory on Tuesday.

Ben Zelenka opened the scoring with a goal early in the first half before Ethan Pollock and Anhalt each added a goal to give Fruitport Calvary a 3-0 halftime advantage.

Zehr increased the Eagles lead to 4-0 early in the second half before the Wildcats managed to score their first goal of the contest.

Anhalt scored his second goal of the game to increase the Eagle advantage to 5-1.

Walkerville added two more goals late in the second half before Zehr closed out the scoring with his second goal of the game.

Fruitport Calvary Christian is now 4-0 on the season.

WHITEHALL 8, RAVENNA 0 – The Vikings were paced by Brett Evans and Denver Aquirre with two goals apiece while Taden Brandel, Tyler Brandel, Joseph Gonzalez and Murray Andre added a goal.

Gonzalez chipped in with three assists and Bailey Tornado contributed with two.

Whitehall goalkeeper Sam Stevens recorded the shutout win, stopping one shot.

The Vikings are now 2-3-1 on the season and 1-0-1 in West Michigan Conference play.

JENISON 3, FRUITPORT 2 –The Trojans allowed three unanswered goals that erased a two-goal advantage on Tuesday.

Fruitport, which led 1-0 at halftime, opened the scoring with a goal from Will Braun.

Nate Curtis increased the Trojans lead to 2-0 with a second half goal before Jenison ended the scoring with three straight tallies.

Fruitport goalkeeper Connor Hines stopped 12 shots on net while Cam Schultz chipped in with an assist.
