The Fruitport football team fell 43-6 to Jenison on Friday in an O-K Black conference game.
After falling behind 7-0 in the first quarter, Fruitport’s Ethan Flores punched in a eight-yard touchdown run, making the score 7-6.
That would be the final score of the night for the Trojans, however, as they surrendered 36 unanswered points.
Flores led the Trojans with 59 rushing yards while Jakob Carlisle threw for 91 yards on 4 of 6 passing.
Kyle Nott led Jenison with 181 rushing yards and one touchdown on six carries while also throwing for 84 yards and one touchdown on 3-for-4 passing.
Fruitport falls to 0-3 on the season and will host Grand Rapids Union next week.
