The Holton Red Devils’ early-season hot streak came to an end on Friday with a 21-8 loss to Morley-Stanwood in CSAA Silver action.

The Red Devils were down 21-0 at halftime and were unable to recover.

Holton running back Aaron Herron continued his strong play with 13 carries for 72 yards and a touchdown scamper. Derek Pouch added 60 yards on 13 carries for the Red Devils, while Austin Hawkins had three catches for 29 yards.

The Red Devil defense was led by Kaleb Kitchka with 16 tackles and Draven Wyant with 14, including four for losses.

Holton, now 3-1 overall and 1-1 in conference play, will host White Cloud next week.
