The Muskegon Community College volleyball squad defeated Ancilla College in three straight sets on Thursday evening.

The Jayhawks, who improved to 11-5 on the season and 5-1 in league play, won by service scores of 25-16, 25-21 and 25-7.

Julie Brown led MCC with 12 kills while Jaren Smith and Amber Jacobs added nine apiece.

The Jayhawks were paced defensively by Shelby Rasch with 13 digs and Katie Veihl chipped in with 38 assists.

MCC will travel to face Kellogg Community College on Tuesday.
