The Kent City football team remained unbeaten after beating Morley Stanwood 42-7 on Friday in a conference game.

The Eagles scored five unanswered touchdowns and totaled for 376 total yards of offense.

Gio Weeks carried the Eagle offense, rushing for 241 yards on 15 carries while scoring five touchdowns.

Kent City’s Evan Jones scored the other touchdown and rushed for 45 yards on the game.

Jones also led the Eagle defense with nine tackles while Max Hudson added seven.

The Eagles are now 5-0 on the season and 3-0 in league play. They will travel to Hesperia next Friday.
