The Montague football team collected its fifth straight victory with a decisive 58-0 victory over Hart in a West Michigan Conference contest on Friday.

The Wildcats rolled up 396 yards of total offense and recorded their second shutout of the season.

The Wildcats took control early, scoring 24 points in the first quarter and adding another 20 in the second. They added single touchdowns in the third and fourth quarter to finish the scoring.

Montague quarterback Drew Collins completed 7 of 10 passes for 155 yards and a touchdown. Running back Bryce Stark rushed for 130 yards on six carries, while Kenyan Johnston had three catches for 93 yards.

Mark Vanderleest finished with 10 tackles for the Wildcats while Brennen Schwarz followed with nine.

The Wildcats improved to 5-1 overall and 5-0 in the conference. They will visit Oakridge next week in a conference showdown.
