A solid effort in goal from Maxime Greiner led the Ludington soccer team to a 4-1 victory over Traverse City Christian on Friday.

Greiner had fives saves for the Orioles, while Will Flewelling, Isaiah Lynn, Steven Darby and Kyle Snyder all had goals for Ludington.

REETHS-PUFFER 4, SPRING LAKE 3 – The Reeths-Puffer soccer team used a strong three goal second half to defeat Spring Lake 4-3 on Friday night.

After being tied 1-1 at the half, Reeths-Puffer outscored Spring Lake 3-2 in the second half.

Goal scorers for the Rockets were Jacob Carpenter, Jacob Ferrell, Troy Beebe and Asthin Carpenter.

Goalkeeper Demario Champman had seven saved for the Rockets who improve to 3-6-1 on the season.

GRAND RAPIDS UNION 3, FRUITPORT 1- The Trojans offense was cold Friday night as they fell to the Red Hawks on the pitch in OK-Black Conference play.

The Red Hawks jumped out to an early 2-0 lead before the break.

However, the Trojans cut that lead to one in the second half off of a header from Cody Mayette.

The Red Hawks tacked on an insurance goal with one minute remaining to seal the win.

Connor Hines had six saves for the Trojans.

MONA SHORES 8, MUSKEGON 0 – The Sailors used goals from seven different players on Friday to defeat the Big Reds.

Clark Meston had two goals to lead the Sailors while George Deveua, Trevor Baker, Camden Deruiter, Cooper Sabourin, Hayden Yaros and Tanner Colella all added a goal.

Yaros also had two assists for Mona Shores.

Goalkeeper Everett Emery picked up the shutout victory in net.
