The Hesperia football team finished off its season strong with a 28-0 shutout victory against Shelby in non-league action.

The Panthers led 6-0 at halftime after a scoreless opening period.

Hesperia increased its lead to 20-0 heading into the fourth quarter before scoring the final eight point of the contest in the final stanza.

The Panthers were led by Brandon Quinn with 112 yards on 16 carries and two touchdowns, while Owen Kowalski added 112 yards on 15 carries.

Kowalski scored on a 48-yard run while Cameron Follett added a score on a seven-yard scamper.

Hesperia finished with 300 yards on the ground as a team.

Logan Balkema led the Panther defense with 13 tackles while Connor VanBuskirk and Gabe Prado added seven.

The Panthers finished their season with a 2-7 overall record.
