Ludington posts 2-1 record in volleyball quad-match at Big Rapids

The Ludington volleyball team posted a 2-1 record on Thursday in a quad-match at Big Rapids.

The Orioles lost to Big Rapids (16-25, 22-25), then defeated Reed City (25-19, 25-11) and Shelby (25-23, 25-14).

Elena Vaara paced Ludington with 14 kills and nine aces while Alison Morse added 13 kills.

The Orioles were led defensively by Zoee Zatarga with 20 digs while Laura Gibson had 17. Randi Stone chipped in with 24 assists.

The Orioles are now 20-15-4 on the season.
