The Oakridge Eagles bounced back from their heart-breaking loss to Montague last week by pounding Hart 62-0 on Friday in West Michigan Conference action.

The Eagles used an overwhelming running attack, rushing for 442 yards on 35 carries and eight touchdowns, to cruise to the victory.

Leading the Eagles on offense was Leroy Quinn with 230 yards and 16 carries with three touchdowns, while Blake Masterman added five carries for 103 yards and four touchdowns. Blake Williams also found the end zone for Oakridge.

Oakridge quarterback Koleman Wall completed 5 of 7 passes for 77 yards.

On the defensive side of the ball, Williams, Jacob Danicek and Brandon Wilde led the Eagles with six tackles apiece while Wilde added a sack.

The Eagles improved to 7-1 on the season and 6-1 in conference play. Hart is now 2-6 overall and 2-5 in the conference.

Oakridge will host Berrien Springs next Friday while Hart will host White Cloud.
