The Mona Shores volleyball squad posted a 1-1 record on Tuesday in a tri-match.

The Sailors defeated Wyoming (25-20, 25-14) in two sets and fell to Forest Hills Northern (13-25, 9-25).

Riley Rosenthal paced Mona Shores with eight kills while Emma Lynn led defensively with 37 digs.

The Sailors also received strong performances from Megan DeLong (18 assists, 12 digs and four aces), Brooke LeRoux (19 digs) and Emma Piasecki (five kills).

Mona Shores is now 14-24-3 on the season and 5-3 in league play.

WHITEHALL 3, WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 0 – The Vikings won the non-league match in three straight sets on Tuesday.

Abby Seeger led Whitehall with nine kills while Rayne Thompson added night. Jaden Mikkelson chipped in with 24 assists.

The Vikings, who are now 26-10-4 on the season, were led defensively by Gianna Megna with 15 digs.

FRUITPORT 3, KENOWA HILLS 1 – The Trojans won an O-K Black Conference match by scores of 25-16, 21-25, 25-15 and 25-19 on Tuesday night.

Kylie Oberlin paced Fruitport with 18 kills while Jordyn Carlyle added 11 kills and 23 digs.

The Trojans were led defensively by Trinity Busscher with 26 digs while Rachel Paulsen contributed with 21. Kalley Carmean chipped in with 27 assists.

Fruitport is now 28-17 on the season and 7-1 in O-K Black Conference play.

GR CATHOLIC CENTRAL 3, SPRING LAKE 2 – The Lakers fell just short on Thursday by scores of 20-25, 24-26, 25-22, 25-17 and 9-15 in O-K Blue Conference action.

Jenna Core paced Spring Lake with 27 kills and 26 digs, while Abbi Perkins added 12 kills and Kamryn Lewkowski had 20 digs. Madeline Zenas chipped in with 51 assists.

The Lakers are now 29-7-1 on the season and 7-4 in league play.
