The Muskegon Catholic volleyball squad defeated Fruitport Calvary in three straight sets to win a Division 4 district title on Friday night.

The Crusaders, who are currently 21-17 on the season, won by scores of 25-15, 25-17 and 25-16 to advance to regional play.

Kyra Tyler paced MCC with 11 kills while Emily Olsen added nine aces. Amelia Heminger chipped in with 28 assists.

The Crusaders were led defensively by Maria Sanocki with 16 digs while Calvinnae Simmons contributed with three blocks.

Muskegon Catholic will face Pentwater on Tuesday in the Division 4 regional semifinals at Bear Lake.
