Orchard View boys hang on against Muskegon Catholic, run record to 5-0

The Orchard View boys basketball team remained unbeaten with a 53-47 victory over Muskegon Catholic on Friday in Lakes 8 Conference action.
Orchard View jumped out to a 23-6 lead after the first quarter, led 34-15 at halftime and had a 42-26 advantage after the three quarters.
MCC rallied late with a 21-11 edge in the fourth but couldn’t quite make up the difference.
The Cardinals were paced by Davion Lane with 14 points while Brady Bowen added 12.
Jared Dugener led MCC with a game-high 24 points and 10 rebounds while Seth Arends contributed with 11 points and six rebounds.
