Orchard View’s Ke’ontae Barnes drove the length of the floor in the final seconds of the game, drew a foul and sank both free throws, giving the Orchard View boys basketball team a thrilling 58-56 victory over rival Oakridge on Tuesday.
Barnes finished with 23 points, six rebounds, five steals and three assists. Brady Bowen and Dietrich Thornton each added 10 points for the Cardinals.
Tanner Karel led the Eagles with 16 points while CoCo Watson had 15. TJ Ruel added 13 points, nine rebounds and four steals.
Orchard View improved to 2-0 on the season while Oakridge dropped to 0-3.
