Boys weekend basketball roundup: Hart and Shelby each win by double digits

The Shelby boys basketball team outscored Manistee 39-31 in the second half to pick up a 66-54 vicotry on Saturday.
Tyler Schouten led the Tigers with 18 points while Logan Claeys added 14 points of his own.
Also scoring double digits for Shelby were Isaiah Frye and Gage Landis who each netted 12 points.
HART 62, FRUITPORT CALVARY CHRISTIAN 52 – The Pirates (6-2) used a 18-9 first quarter advantage in the first quarter to jump out to a lead it didn’t surrender. Dustin Klotz led Hart with 20 points while Alex Kempker added 17 points and nine rebounds.
Ben Zelenka and Zach Zehr each led the Eagles with 17 points while Jacob McFarren added 14 points.
