The Hesperia girls basketball team came away with a 54-49 win over Holton in a CSAA contest on Friday night.

Emily Bayle paced the Panthers with 22 points and six rebounds while Makenna Swisher added 17 points and Alyssa Miller had 11 points.

Hesperia led 19-8 after the first quarter, 28-17 at halftime and 42-32 through three quarters.

The Panthers are now 7-5 on the season overall and 2-4 in league play.

KENT CITY 71, WHITE CLOUD 31 – Nine players put points on the board for the Eagles to earn another victory Friday night.

 

The Eagles were led by Kenzie Bowers with 24 points, while Zara Weber chipped in 16 and Janelle Krueger contributed 14.

Kent City improved to 9-2 overall and is 6-0 in conference play.

FREMONT 51, REED CITY 27- Paige Vandenberg paced the Packers with 15 points while Torey Reichert-Slater had a season-high seven points.

Fremont led 12-0 after the first quarter, 25-6 at halftime and 33-14 through three quarters.

The Packers dished out 15 assists as a team.

Natalie Jamieson chipped in with five steals and eight rebounds for Fremont.

The Packers are now 8-3 on the season and 6-1 in league play.
