The Grand Haven girls basketball team remained unbeaten with a 42-30 victory over Hudsonville on Friday in O-K Red Conference play.
The Bucs led 13-6 after the first quarter, 17-13 at halftime and 29-21 through three quarters.
Alli Keyser led Grand Haven with 21 points while Jolee Houle added six points and four steals. Kelly Olthof contributed with five points and five rebounds.
The Bucs improved to 8-0 overall and 2-0 in the OK Red Conference.
FRUITPORT CALVARY CHRISTIAN 53, WYOMING POTTERS HOUSE 37 – The Eagles finished the contest strong after having a slim 22-19 lead at halftime.
Fruitport Calvary went on a 19-7 third quarter run to stretch its advantage to 41-26 heading into the final stanza.
Kelsey Richards had a team-high 21 points for the Eagles while Brionna Johnson notched a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Lizzie Cammenga contributed with nine points, six rebounds and six steals while Kristina Warren led the team with six assists.
The Eagles improved to 5-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
COOPERSVILLE 68, SPRING LAKE 35- The Lakers struggled offensively, trailing 17-10 after the first quarter, 33-21 at halftime and 51-27 through three quarters.
Madeline Zenas led Spring Lake with 13 points.
DETROIT EDISON 64, MUSKEGON 52- The Big Reds jumped out to a 14-10 lead after the first quarter, but the Pioneers claimed the lead during the second quarter to take a 30-24 halftime advantage.
Muskegon cut its deficit to 45-41 heading into the final frame, but Edison closed out the scoring with a 19-11 fourth quarter tear.
Alyza Winston led the way for the Big Reds with 22 points and five rebounds while Diynasti Dowel chipped in with eight points.
Muskegon is now 2-4 on the season.
GRAND RAPIDS UNION 38, FRUITPORT 28- The Trojans were paced by Sydney Bol with nine points while Ellie Fisher added eight points and 10 rebounds.
Fruitport is now 0-7 on the season and 0-3 in league play.
