The Reeths-Puffer wrestling team took first place in the Randy Jacobs duals at Montague on Saturday.

The Rockets defeated Wyoming 80-0, Ravenna 70-5, Forest Hills Northern 67-9, Coopersville 55-18, and Hamilton 48-27.

Greg Maynard (103), Connor Bloomstrom (103), Jacob Blawat (119), Noah McKinnon (125), Alex Chipman (135), Kaden Edwards (135), Thade Radosa (145), Gerrit Andrus (189) and Hunter McCall (215) all went undefeated on the day for the Rockets.

Jack Tevrucht (130), Jimmy Rozycki (140), Parker Lindstrom (145), Caleb McNeil (152), Colby Stephenson (160) and Payton Deobben (171) all lost only one match.

HOLTON TAKES FOURTH – The Holton wrestling team took fourth place on Saturday at the Northview team tournament.

The Red Devils defeated Ottawa Hills 54-21 and Godwin Heights 42-40 before falling to East Grand Rapids 45-27 and Kellogsville 51-27.

Undefeated wrestlers for Holton were Riley Moore and Rice Robins while Cam Edgerton, Brock Horton, Eric German and Joe Crowell went 3-1. James Eberly and Garret Lulofs each went 2-2 on the day.

FRUITPORT HAS SOLID DAY AT RANDY JACOBS MEMORIAL – The Fruitport wrestling team went 4-1 on Saturday, defeating Forest Hills Central 36-33, Assembly X 64-10, Forest Hills Northern 37-30, and Orchard View 52-30. The Trojans lost 45-33 to Hamilton.

Undefeated wrestlers for the Trojans were Brennen Martin (103), Mason Brown (112), Dominic Dault (135), Zecheriah Richardson (152) and Crue Cooper (171). Connor Sykes (119) and Jayme Woodring (215) each went 4-1.
