Jayhawk women blow past Kalamazoo Valley with strong second half performance

The Muskegon Community College womens basketball team used a strong second half to defeat Kalamazoo Valley Community College 89-69.

After being down 43-42 at halftime, the Jayhawks outscored Kalamazoo Valley 46-27 in the final two quarters.

Elysia Mattos paced Muskegon with 21 points while Yasmine Colon added 17 and Artrese Williams added 15.

Rounding out the double digit scorers for Muskegon were Mariah Pringle with 11 points and Delaney Bolles with 11 points and 18 rebounds.
