The Muskegon Community College womens basketball team escaped Jackson College on Saturday with a narrow 63-62 victory.

The Jayhawks defense shut down Jackson who were unable to get a shot off after having possession for the final two seconds of the game.

Delaney Bolles led Muskegon with 24 points and 14 rebounds while Artrese Williams added 12 points and Yasmine Colon added 11 points.

With the victory, Muskegon improves to 17-2 overall and 9-1 in conference play.
