Monday boys hoops roundup: Numerous big individual games help local teams win

The North Muskegon boys basketball team outscored Ludington 31-24 in the second half to pick up a 54-47 victory.

TJ McKenzie led the Norse (13-1, 8-1) with 21 points while Eric Rypstra added 13 points and five rebounds.

Ludington was paced by Nate Lange with 16 points and Josh Laman with 15 points.

KENT CITY 60, LAKEVIEW 26 – Kent City held a 32-13 halftime lead that only grew in the second half for a big victory.

Eli Carlson led the Eagles with 20 points.

MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 46, PINE RIVER 45 – Mason County Central outscored Pine River 22-9 in the fourth quarter on Monday.

Jeffery Carrier led the Spartans (6-8,2-7) with 32 points, 10 rebounds and five steals while Zach Richardson added six points and five assists.

FREMONT 72, TRI COUNTY 36 – Fremont jumped out to a 10-0 lead on Monday in an easy victory.

Braiden McDonald led the Packers (13-1, 8-1) with 15 points while Calvin Miller and Logan Karnemaat each had 10 points.
