The Kent City boys basketball team fell 58-55 in double overtime on Monday night to Sparta.

Eli Carlson led the Eagles with 19 points while Max Hudson had 14 points.

WHITEHALL 61, MONTAGUE 23 – Whitehall led 18-6 after one quarter on Monday and never looked back, picking up a conference victory.

Gavin Schaeffer led the Vikings (7-8, 7-3) with 12 points while Ethan McKenzie added 11 points. Montague (7-8, 4-6) was paced by Kenyan Johnston with eight points.

HOLTON 75, FLAT RIVER 40 – Holton exploded for 32 points in a very offensive first quarter that led to a non-conference victory.

Kaleb Kitchka led Holton (9-8,) with 21 points while Chip Wright had eight points.

OAKRIDGE 46, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 36 – Oakridge bounced back from a 18-13 halftime deficit in the victory.

Coco Watson had 12 points to lead the Eagles while Peyton Young had 11 points.

Mason County Central was led by Jeffery Carrier with 13 points.

MUSKEGON HEIGHTS 51, LUDINGTON 43 – The Tigers led 28-18 at halftime and held on for the victory.

Romeo Blackshire led Muskegon Heights with 16 points while LaMonte Townsend had 10 points of his own.

Ludington was led by Josh Laman with 16 points.

JENISON 73, FRUITPORT 52 – Gavin Fisher had 17 points in the loss for Fruitport while Luke Mitchell added 14 points.

ORCHARD VIEW 49, MANISTEE 35 – A 16-9 second quarter advantage helped the Cardinals defeat Manistee on Monday night.

Davion Lane led the Cardinals with 17 points while Bryant Thomas and Darius Williams each added 10 points.
