The Reeths-Puffer boys basketball team advanced to the Division 1 district semifinals with a 53-45 victory over Kenowa Hills on Monday.

The Rockets jumped out to a 13-11 lead after the first quarter, led 27-22 at halftime and had a 40-32 advantage heading into the final stanza.

Carter Fulton paced Reeths-Puffer with 16 points and nine rebounds while Emcee Williams added 10 points and four assists.

The Rockets are now 16-5 overall on the season.

Reeths-Puffer will take on Mona Shores on Wednesday in the district semifinals at Muskegon High School.
