The Fruitport boys basketball team jumped out to a 21-4 lead after the first quarter and maintained its lead to defeat Whitehall 57-46 on Monday in Division 2 district play.
The Trojans also led 29-15 at halftime and 43-32 through three quarters of play.
Luke Mitchell paced Fruitport with 15 points while Ethan Flores added 14 and Marcelo Conklin chipped in with 11.
The Vikings were led by Ethan McKenzie with a game-high 17 points while Andrew Durbin contributed with 12.
The Trojans will face host Orchard View on Wednesday in the Division 2 district semifinals.
