The North Muskegon boys basketball team closed out its regular season with a 46-36 win over Shelby in West Michigan Conference play on Thursday.

The Norse led 15-10 after the opening quarter, led 25-24 at halftime, and then went on a 12-3 run during the third quarter to take a 37-27 advantage heading into the final stanza.

DeShary Warren paced North Muskegon with 13 points, six steals and five assists. Jesse Cooke added 12 points and six rebounds, while T.J. McKenzie had nine points and four steals.

The Tigers were led by Tyler Schouten with 14 points while Logan Claeys had seven.

The Norse finished the season with a strong 19-1 overall record and 13-1 in league play.

Shelby ended its year with a 2-18 record and 0-14 in conference play.

WHITEHALL 57, RAVENNA 45– The Vikings led 14-11 after the first quarter, 31-28 at halftime and 38-35 through three quarter.

Ethan McKenzie led Whitehall with 16 points, while Terrell Harris had 13 points and three steals. Andrew Durbin pulled down eight rebounds.

The Bulldogs were paced by Calvin Schullo with 16 points and eight rebounds while Josh Vanderwoude added 11 points and five assists.

Whitehall improved to 9-10 on the season and 9-5 in league play.

PENTWATER 70, MESICK 42- The Falcons jumped out to a 44-17 lead at the half and never looked back.

Glenn Miller paced Pentwater with 25 points, while Max Stoneman added 14 points, eight rebounds, four steals and four assists. Austin Hofmann chipped in with 11 points and nine rebounds.
