Whitehall girls rally to beat Fruitport 40-28 to claim their 16th victory of the season

The Whitehall girls basketball team continued its outstanding season with a 40-28 non-conference victory over Fruitport on Tuesday.

The Vikings trailed 13-12 at halftime, then turned on the offense in the second half, outscoring Fruitport 28-15 to claim the victory.

Kacy Jeffries led Whitehall with 12 points while Rileigh Thommen and Abby Seeger each scored seven.

Whitehall improved to 16-2 on the season.
