The Holton softball team flexed its muscles on Wednesday, pounding Fremont 25-3 and 15-2 in a non-league doubleheader.

In the opener, pitcher Kylie Gould struck out eight to collect the win. Gianna Reed went 4-for-4 at the plate for Holton, Morgan Murat had two hits and four RBI, Madi Bosset collected two hits and Ashley McCormick knocked in three runs.

In Game 2, Haylee Brant picked up the win on the mound. Brant, Piper, Gould, Bosset and Kennedy Greene had hits for the Red Devils, who are 2-0 on the season.
