Natalie Jamieson scored a three-goal hat trick, including the game-winner in the second half, to give the Fremont girls soccer team a 3-2 victory over Muskegon Catholic on Tuesday in the opener for both teams.

MCC took a lead when Erin Lavigne scored 10 minutes into the first half. Jamieson tied things up with a goal five minutes later, with an assist from Avery Curnett. The Crusaders took the lead again on a goal by A’lahna Cherry. But Jamieson put the Packers ahead for good with a goal in the first half, and the only goal of the second half.

Audrey Johnson made five saves in goal for Fremont.
