The Kent City girls basketball team cruised to a 55-13 win over Holton in the Division 3 district semifinals on Wednesday night.

The Eagles jumped out to a 19-2 lead after the first quarter, led 39-4 at halftime and had a 47-11 advantage heading into the final stanza.

Jenna Harrison paced Kent City with 13 points, while Zara Weber added 10 and Alyssa Larson chipped in with eight.

Kent City, which is now 18-4 overall on the season, will face WMC/Ravenna on Friday in the district finals.
