The Muskegon Community College golf team competed in its first tournament of the season Tuesday at the 
Asbury Invitational in Kentucky.
The Jayhawks, who were the only community college squad competing in the tournament, finished 8th out of 12 teams.
Reid Sayles was the low man for the Jayhawks with a 77 while Zach Lisman and Keaton Inglis shot 78 and 79, respectively.
As a team, the Jayhawks shot 323.
