The Muskegon Catholic girls tennis team had a very successful Friday, beating Manistee 8-0 in a Lakes 8 conference match, and Wayland 5-3 in non-conference action.

Getting victories in the sweep over Manistee were Alaina Kohley (No. 1 singles), Aremy Salazar (No. 2 singles), Ava Asmus (No. 3 singles). Macey Gabrielson (No. 4 singles), Amelia Heminger and Jazmine Bennett (No. 1 doubles), Hazel Rodriguez and Anna Riegler (No. 2 doubles), Brenna Kieft and Andrea Sanford (No. 3 doubles) and Nia Merriweather and Emma Maierhauser (No. 4 doubles).

NORTH MUSKEGON 6, MONA SHORES 2 – The Norse captured the top six flights – four in singles and two in doubles – to claim the win. Singles winners for North Muskegon were Alicia Hall (No. 1), Claire McCall (No. 2), Noa Bowen (No. 3) and Lindsay Bliss No.4).

Winning in doubles for the Norse were Belles Hardman and Lily Montgomery (No. 1), Carina Steketee and Sarah Muzzy (No. 2). Doubles winners for Mona Shores were Michaela Sander and Holli Brus, and Gabbi Alderman and Lena Peisker, in the third and fourth flights, respectively.
