The Muskegon Community College softball team experienced two tough losses on Thursday, 6-3 and 3-2, to Mid-Michigan Community College.

The Jayhawks only managed five hits in Game 1. Alyssa Bobian had a hit and knocked in two runs while Morgan Taylor nailed a triple. Kirsten Sweet was the losing pitcher despite only allowing two earned runs. MCC was hurt by seven errors.

In Game 2, pitcher Bree Green only allowed two hits and one earned run but still took the loss. Hanna Smith and Rachel Ramont each had two hits for MCC.

The Jayhawks are now 10-26 overall and 6-16 in conference play.
