The Ludington girls soccer team blanked Manistee 4-0 on Thursday evening in a Lakes 8 battle.

The Orioles had a balanced scoring attack with goals from Bre Mesyar, Eleah Billings, Abby Millspaugh, and Hailey Stowe.

Ludington outshot the Chippewas by a commanding 17-2 margin.

Stowe also chipped in with two assists while goalkeeper Lindsey Lovato stopped both shots faced.

The Orioles are now 2-3-1 on the season and 1-0 in conference play.

WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 3, OAKRIDGE 3 – The Warriors attempted to overcome a two-goal deficit but only managed to force a tie on Thursday in a non-league battle.

Emily Rosema, Haley Breuker and Morgan Kinnucan each found the back of the net for WMC.

WMC goalkeeper Adayla Liggett made her debut in net for the Warriors.

The Eagles were led by Briell Tjapkes with two goals while Emily Myers added a goal.

The Warriors are now 0-3-1 on the season while Oakridge is now 3-3-1 on the year.

GR COVENANT CHRISTIAN 3, RAVENNA 0 – The Bulldogs are now 3-4 overall on the season and 1-2 in league play. Bailey Walker stopped 16 shots on net.

WHITEHALL 7, BIG RAPIDS 2 – Chloe McCarthy and Kacy Jeffries both scored two goals to lead the Vikings to a non-league victory.

Maggie Evans, Emma Thompson and Rileigh Thommen added a goal each for Whitehall. Thommen added two assists to go along with her goal, and goalkeeper Sadie Vanguilder stopped nine shots.

Whitehall improves to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

HART 1, SHELBY 0 – The Hart girls soccer team recorded the shutout win Thursday night. The goal was chipped in by Elisabeth Purdy off of a free kick late in the first half. Hart was outshot by a 9-3 margin.

MONA SHORES 2, FRUITPORT 0 – Nora Brown opened the scoring for the Sailors off a pass from Julia Tierman. Bri Wade scored the second goal with Erin Powers recording the assist.

Emma Lynn recorded her second shutout on the season.

The Sailors improved to 2-1-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

Wednesday results

 SPRING LAKE 8, WEST CATHOLIC 0 –Senior Laney Peasley led the Lakers with a hat trick on the night. Madeline Zenas followed with two goals and an assist while Phoebe Saunders added a goal and three assists. Taylor Colquitt recorded two goals.

Kamryn Lewkowski and Phoebe Wigger both saw action in net, keeping West Catholic off the scoreboards and earning the shutout.

The Lakers remain unbeaten in conference play.
