The West Michigan Whitecaps had their winning streak snapped at two games with a 1-0 loss at Lansing on Monday night.

West Michigan totaled only three hits on the night with Nick Ames, Jordan Pearce and Ulrich Bojarski all having singles.

The lone run of the game came when Otto Lopez of the Lugnuts singled to center, scoring Reggie Pruitt.

Whitecaps starter Garrett Hill took a no-decision, allowing two hits and striking out seven over five innings of work.

Reliever Xavier Javier took the loss, allowing six hits and one unearned run over 2 and 1/3 innings of work.

The Whitecaps fall to 2-3 on the season and will continue their series at Lansing on Tuesday with first pitch scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
