The Ludington girls soccer squad shut down the #13 ranked Whitehall team on Tuesday 2-0 in the Division 3 district semifinals.

The Orioles were led by Aubrey Pomorski and Anna Wietzykowski with one goal apiece, while Bre Mesyar chipped in with an assist.

Ludington was outshot by the Vikings by a 14-8 margin.

Lindsey Lovato stopped all 14 shots faced in net for the Orioles.

Ludington, which is currently 10-9-1 on the season, will face host Big Rapids on Thursday for a district title.
