The Reeths-Puffer baseball team split a doubleheader against Jenison on Tuesday in O-K Black Conference action.

The Rockets won the opening game 5-3 before falling by a 7-2 margin in the nightcap.

Kendall Smith won Game 1 for the Rockets, going seven innings and allowing three runs.

Alex Johnson led the Rockets at the plate with three hits and an RBI, while Kaleb Mitchelson had two hits and two runs scored.

The Rockets got out to a 2-0 lead after the third frame in Game 2, but the Jenison bats heated up and rallied for seven runs to grab the win.

Mitchelson suffered the loss on the mound, allowing three runs.

Will Bennett and Carson Aerts paced the Rockets with three and two hits a piece, respectively.
