Thursday girls tennis roundup: North Muskegon and Ludington wins matches

The North Muskegon girls tennis squad cruised past Spring Lake 6-2 on Thursday in a non-league match.

The Norse singles winners were Alicia Hall, Claire McCall, Noa Bowen and Lindsey Bliss.

Doubles teams of Belles Hardman and Lily Montgomery won for North Muskegon along with Sarah Muzzy and Carina Steketee.

The Lakers doubles team of Taylor Gates and Erika Mcsheehy won their match as well as the team of Abbi Perkins and Mahli Braak.

LUDINGTON 5, MUSKEGON CATHOLIC 3- The Orioles remained unbeaten in league play with a win over Muskegon Catholic.

Lindsey Holmes, Allana Patterson, Isabella Vandenheuvel and Kelly Mcpike each won their singles match for Ludington. The doubles team of Tess Bradley and Lillian Kolb won for the Orioles.

MCC winners included Amelia Heminger and Jazmine Bennett (No. 1 doubles), Anna Riegler and Hazel Rodriguez (No. 2 doubles) and the team of Emma Maierhauser and Nia Merriweather (No. 4 doubles).
