The North Muskegon girls tennis team took first place on Saturday in the Coastal Conference tournament.

North Muskegon finished with 30 points while Grant was runner-up with 23 points, followed by Whitehall with 19 points and Fremont with eight points.

Flight champions for the Norse were Alicia Hall (No.1 singles), Claire McCall (No.2 singles), Noa Bowen (No.3 singles), Lindsay Bliss (No.4 singles), the team of Belles Hardman and Lily Montgomery (No.1 doubles) and the team of Liz McNally and Lindsey Piper (No.4 doubles).

Flight runners-up for the Norse were the teams of Sarah Muzzy and Carina Steketee (No.2 doubles) and the team of Gabby Gaston and Greta Goszkowicz (No.3 doubles).

Kalysta Coats (No.4 singles), the team of McKenna Hepler and Jaden Mikkelson (No.1 doubles) and the team of Chloe Christensen and Lacey Herbert (No.4 doubles) were runners-up for Whitehall.

LUDINGTON TAKES LAKES 8 CONFERENCE TITLE – The Ludington Orioles girls tennis team took home the Lakes 8 conference tournament with a score of 36, followed by Muskegon Catholic Central with 28 points, Big Rapids with 26 points, Western Michigan Christian with 20 points and Manistee with 10 points.

Oriole flight champions were Kelly McPike (No.4 singles), the team of Hailee Ward and Carmen Wardle (No.1 doubles), Lillian Kolb and Tess Bradley (No.3 doubles) and the team of Alex Marineau and Hannah Filter (No.4 doubles).

Runners-up for Ludington were Lindsey Holmes (No.1 singles), Alanna Patterson (No.2 singles), Isabella Vandenheuvel (No.3 singles) and the team of Karlee Plamondon and Grace Taranko (No.2 doubles).

Muskegon Catholic was led by the team of Anna Riegler and Hazel Rodriguez (No.2 doubles) who were flight champions.

The Warriors were led by Libby Fisher (No.3 singles) who won her flight.

FRUITPORT TAKES HOME OK-BLACK CONFERNCE TITLE – The Fruitport girls tennis team took home the OK-Black conference title, scoring 40 points on Saturday.

The flight champions for the Trojans were Trinity Busscher (No.1 singles), Haleigh Winsksas (No.2 singles), Olivia Parling (No.3 singles) and Hannah Kelly (No.4 singles).
