The Holton softball team advanced to the state quarterfinals after winning a Division 4 regional championship on Saturday.

The Red Devils defeated Onekama 10-2 in the regionals finals after cruising past Frankfort 11-1 in the semifinals.

Kylie Gould pitched both victories for Holton, striking out 15 batters in the finals and 10 in the semifinals.

Riley Legard paced the Red Devils in the finals with three hits while Gould and Haylee Brant added two.

Brant also had two hits during the semifinal contest.

The Red Devils are now 31-4 on the season and will face Coleman on Tuesday in the state quarterfinals at Hope College.
