The Muskegon Clippers closed their three-game series on the road against the Lima Locos with a 6-3 win on Sunday, bouncing back from a 15-7 loss on Saturday.

The Clippers are now 3-3 on the season, good for a third place tie in the North Division of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate Summer Baseball League.

Muskegon will continue its road trip on Tuesday when it starts a three-game set against the St. Clair Green Giants. First pitch is slated for 7:00 p.m.

The Locos jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning, but Muskegon responded by scoring six unanswered runs.

Muskegon scored one run in the second, two in the fourth, one in the seventh and two in the eighth inning. The Locos closed out the scoring with a single run in the bottom half of the eighth frame.

Ty Olejnik paced the Clippers with three hits while Tre Morris and Brian Martin added two apiece.

Rob Zuwarski knocked in two runs while Olejnik, Morris and Martin each had one RBI.

Brady Miller pitched the win for Muskegon, allowing two runs on five hits while striking out seven batters in six innings. Charles Heil pitched three innings of relief for the Clippers.
