The Oakridge baseball team overcame an early deficit to down Orchard View 5-2 on Monday and claim a Division 2 district championship.

Orchard View took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but Oakridge tied the score in the bottom of the inning when Mason Wever scored on a passed ball.

OV went up 2-1 in the third inning, but Oakridge took the lead when Hunter Jennings ripped a two-run double.

Jalen Hughes executed a suicide squeeze bunt, scoring the fourth Eagles run, and  Jon Terpenning knocked in the final run with a ground out to second that scored Blake Masterman.
