Ravenna captures Division 3 baseball district title after a 3-1 win over WMC

The Ravenna baseball team won a Division 3 district title on Monday after beating Western Michigan Christian by a 3-1 margin.

After giving up one run in the first inning, Matthew Johnson was solid on the mound for the Bulldogs. 

Johnson allowed five hits in the outing while striking out five Warrior hitters. 

Connor Kilbourne and Kevin Ritz each had an RBI, while Thomas McCullough and Dom Jones scored a run apiece. 

The Bulldogs will face Pewamo-Westphalia in a regional semifinal game on Wednesday at Kent City High School.
