The West Michigan Whitecaps fell 4-0 on Monday afternoon to Bowling Green, extending the Whitecaps losing streak to seven straight games.

The Whitecaps surrendered three runs in the third inning and one run in the seventh inning in route to the loss.

Wenceel Perez led the Whitecaps offense with two of the teams four hits on Monday while starting pitcher Chance Kirby took the loss. Kirby allowed three earned run on six hits and struck out six batters over six innings.

The Whitecaps remain in last place of the Midwest League Eastern Division standings and are now 20-44 overall.

On Tuesday, the Whitecaps will travel to Dayton to being a road series with first pitch scheduled for 7 p.m.
