The West Michigan Whitecaps went 1-2  in a three-game series at Wisconsin that took place on Sunday and Monday.

After Saturday night’s game was postponed to a doubleheader on Sunday, the Whitecaps fell 6-3 and 6-4 before winning 3-0 on Monday afternoon.

Dayton Dugas and Wenceel Perez led the Whitecaps in Game 1 with two hits and one RBI each.

In Game 2, Parker Meadows and Jack Kenley each had two hits for the Whitecaps. Kenley hit a solo home run in the game.

Nick Quintana had two RBIs for the Whitecaps in the Game 2 loss.

On Monday afternoon, Ulrich Bojarski singled home Cooper Johnson in the fifth inning to give the Whitecaps a 1-0 lead.

In the seventh inning, Dugas doubled home Johnson and Bojarski to give the Whitecpas a 3-0 advantage which was ultimately the final score.

Bojarski led the Whitecaps with two hits on the day while starting pitcher Brad Bass struck out nine and surrendered only four hits over 7 and 2/3 innings.

Reliever Yaya Chentouf picked up the save, walking two batters over the final 1 and 1/3 innings.

The Whitecaps will return home on Wednesday to begin a series with Lansing. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
