The West Michigan Whitecaps took two-out-of-three games in their series at Beloit, winning 8-5 Wednesday and 13-7 Thursday before falling 3-2 on Friday in 10 innings.

In the victory on Wednesday, Parker Meadows led the Whitecaps with four hits and a RBI while Bryant Packard added three hits and three RBIs.

Dayton Dugas and Andre Lipcius each added two hits and a RBI in the victory.

On Thursday, Packard once again had a strong night at the plate, totaling two hits and three RBIs while Jack Kenley added three hits and three RBIs.

In the loss on Friday, Nick Quintana led the Whitecaps with three hits and one RBI while Lipcius had two hits.

The Whitecaps now hold a 32-64 overall record and a 11-16 record in the second half, seven games behind Bowling Green for first place in the Midwest League Eastern Division second half standings.

On Saturday, the Whitecaps will begin a three game series at Wisconsin with first pitch scheduled for 7:35 p.m.
