The North Muskegon boys soccer team held tough on Monday in a 3-2 loss to Division 4 defending champions Leland.

North Muskegon led the game on two different occasions before Leland tied the game with four minutes left and ultimately scored the game winning goal with 43 seconds remaining.

Hudson Richards led the Norse with a goal and an assist while Dylan Schultz had a goal and Trevor Schultz had an assists.

Goalkeeper Jake Hoffer had seven saves for North Muskegon who falls to 1-1-1 overall on the season.

FRUITPORT CALVARY 3, NORTHPOINTE CHRISTIAN 1 – The Eagles came back from a 1-0 deficit on Monday night to win 3-1 in a non-conference game.

Ethan Pollock scored off an assist from Luke Assaad to tie the game at 1-1 before Pollock scored again to give Fruitport Calvary a 2-1 lead off an assist from Ben Zelenka.

The final Eagle goal came from Ben Pollock while goalkeeper Jose Wetzig had eight saves in the victory.

REETHS-PUFFER 1, WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 1 – The Reeths-Puffer and Western Michigan Christian soccer teams tied on Monday night in a non-conference game.

Owen Varnado gave the Warriors a 1-0 lead early in the game when he scored off an assist from Charlie Alfree.

In the second half, Dominic Lopez of the Rockets scored off an assist from Ashton Carpenter to tie the game at 1-1.

Warrior goalkeeper Jamison Goorman had seven saves on the night while DaMario Chapman had 12 saves for the Rockets.
